Summer Smash Festival returns to Chicagoland for 2025, with organizers Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX announcing a music lineup for June 20-22 at SeatGeek Stadium featuring a who’s who of hip-hop talent topped by Don Toliver, Future and Young Thug’s first performance since 2022.
“We are excited to present the 7th edition of the largest independent hip-hop festival in the world and can’t wait to show the fans what we’ve been working on,” said Berto Solorio, Summer Smash Festival Cofounder and SPKRBX Founder.
“I feel lucky to be able to throw the party of the year with my best friends,” added Cole Bennett, co-founder of Summer Smash Festival and Lyrical Lemonade. “May this be the best one yet. Lucky number 7.”
Topping the lineup on Friday is the co-headline of Don Toliver and YEAT debuting a highly anticipated joint collab for the first time, rap superstar Future on Saturday and, on Sunday, the return of Young Thug who in 2022 was charged along with two dozen others in Georgia under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization act (RICO), having been released in November on time served and under probation.
Others on the lineup include Chicago MCs G Herbo, Saba and FamousDex, not to mention Chance The Rapper closing out one of the two main stages Sunday night. Additional artists include festival alumni sch as Sexyy Red, Quavo, Sahbabii, Nav, Ski Mask the Slump God, Trippie Redd, NLE Choppa, Nettspend and OsamaSon, as well as first-time performances from Soulja Boy, 1900Rugrat, and Che among others.
A new batch of GA, VIP and Platinum tickets will be released for purchase Friday, March 28 at 12:00 p.m, after the initial 2025 ticket allotment sold out in advance as part of the festival’s presale, according to the announcement. These new passes are the least expensive tickets now available to the general public with prices set to increase as the event draws closer.
