The site added that Kamilla Karthigesu and Kyle Fraser, “one of the most hidden duos in ‘Survivor history,'” also attempted to get Joe Hunter and Eva Erickson, another strong alliance, to vote off one of their loyal mates so they could claim the season’s million-dollar prize.

Shauhin Davari, a 38-year-old debate professor living in Costa Mesa, California, was the latest person voted out of the game.

According to Parade, Davari planned to follow through on his plan to make it to the finale with Hunter, Erickson and Fraser. But, during episode 12, he decided to confide in Fraser about the pros and cons of turning on his alliance. Fraser then used this information to turn on Davari and start a “smear campaign” against the debate professor by lying to Hunter that Davari was conspiring against him and had a secret idol.
