Sydney Sweeney is going up, up and away in her latest Instagram post.
On Tuesday, March 25, Sweeney, 27, shared a series of photos to her Instagram grid that showed her posing in front of and riding in a hot air balloon with friends in Tanzania, Africa. “only up from here,” the Anyone But You star wrote in a caption to her post.
Sweeney’s post is her second from what appears to be a trip to Africa. On Saturday, March 22, the actress shared a number of photos of the same group on a safari and wrote in that caption, “this was wild.”
The Euphoria star’s post comes just one day after Sweeney seemingly deleted a photo of herself kissing her fiancé Jonathan Davino from Instagram. Fans have been speculating about Sweeney’s relationship status with her film producer fiancé Davino, 41, in recent days after reports emerged that she’s seemingly living without Davino at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Aneles.

“The last few days of 2024 will forever be some of my favorite,” Sweeney had written in the Jan. 2 post she originally shared the kissing photo in. Celebrity rumor account DeuxMoi was the first to note the photo’s removal from Sweeney’s account.

Sweeney has been engaged to Davino since 2022 and has stated multiple times over the years that she prioritizes keeping her personal life out of the public eye. “I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age,” she told Glamour UK in December 2023, adding that Davino was her “best friend.”

TMZ reported in February that Sweeney and Davino had postponed their May wedding date. Prior to her trip to Africa, Sweeney shared photos to Instagram from New York City and Paris in recent weeks. The actress was seen catching up with her Euphoria costar Maude Apatow at a New York Rangers hockey game in February and additionally caught a Brooklyn Nets-New York Knicks basketball game in N.Y.C. back on Jan. 21.
Sweeney appeared in three movies in 2024 and has a number of projects in the works, including The Housemaid and a biopic of boxer Christy Martin, among others.
