It’s a jam-packed Sunday at the Miami Open with a host of intriguing third-round matches to look forward to.

03:00 CET – In the final women’s match of the night, Amanda Anisimova upsets Mirra Andreeva 7-6, 2-6, 6-3. The shocking win ends Andreeva’s 13-match win streak while Anisimova advances to the Round of 16 to face Emma Raducanu.

For those who remember, Anisimova lost to Raducanu during the Australian Open earlier this year.

02:40 CET – World’s number six Casper Ruud defeats Jaume Munar in straight sets 6-4, 7-6. Last year’s runner-up in Ruud has now won 10 matches at Miami. 

02:33 CET – Gael Monfils takes down Jaume Munar 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 in an intense match lasting almost three hours. This win now puts Monfils in the Round of 16 at Miami for the fifth time in his career and the first since 2016!

00:42 CET – Emma Raducanu advances to the Round of 16 for the first time at Miami in two sets 6-1, 3-0 after McCartney Kessler retired in the second set. 

23:53 CET – David Goffin has been brought back down to earth after his stunning win over Carlos Alcaraz. Home player Brandon Nakashima was too good in the end this evening, winning a three-set thriller 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3.

Meanwhile, over on the WTA side, Jessica Pegula has come from a set down to progress in front of her home crowd, beating Anna Kalinskaya 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).

23:06 CET – Novak Djokovic was made to work for it in the second set but Miami’s fourth seed is into the second week with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) win over Camilo Carabelli.

20:55 CET – In a battle between the 15th seed Lorenzo Musetti and 18th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, we were expecting a close tussle, and we got one with the Italian Musetti seeing off his Canadian opponent in 146 minutes 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Meanwhile some American joy on the east coast with Sebastian Korda beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets 7-6(4), 6-3.

20:48 CET – A huge shock in Miami as fifth seed Madison Keys is out! She has been beaten 6-4, 6-2 by 19-year-old Alexandra Eala of the Phillippines.

19:06 CET – Second seed Iga Swiatek is safely through in Miami after battling through a tough opening set to defeat Elise Mertens 7-6(2), 6-1. Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk has also sealed her spot in the fourth round, seeing off Anna Blinkova 6-2, 6-1 in just 59 minutes.

Meanwhile, on the men’s side of the tournament, Grigor Dimitrov recovered from a set down to outlast Karen Khachanov in a gruelling three-set contest, 6-7(3), 6-4, 7-5.

18:13 CET – Elina Svitolina has come through a battle to pull off an impressive win against 15th-seed Karolina Muchova, winning 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to secure her place in the second week at Miami.

17:50 CET – The first result of the day is in from Miami, where 10th seed Paula Badosa has battled hard to advance. The Spanish player beat Denmark’s Clara Tauson 6-3, 7-6(3) to see her through to the second week in Florida.

16:05 CET – We are underway in Miami for plenty of tantalising tennis this afternoon.

14:00 CET – Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of today’s tennis at the Miami Open, with several of the world’s best players involved on yet another mouthwatering day of action.

Karolina Muchova faces Elina Svitolina in a blockbuster match at around 16:00 CET, before the likes of Iga Swiatek, Mirra Andreeva and Madison Keys all take to the court later on.

On the men’s side of the draw, Novak Djokovic continues his tournament with a third-round clash against Camilo Ugo Carabelli, while plenty of big names such as Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tommy Paul are also in action.
