The New Day have been on a run of tyranny ever since Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston nearly split up and only came together over a shared hatred for their former third, the injured Big E. They have run amok just enough to find themselves in a match against The War Raiders for the world tag team championship at tonight’s (Sat., April 19, 2025) WrestleMania 41 premium live event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

They started a bit slow but when the action picked up they grabbed the fans fast. That included Ivar doing what the big man does and hitting sprawling moonsaults for two counts only broken up by Woods hitting a Limit Break elbow drop. Woods was isolated by the Raiders but Kingston was slick about interfering to give the baddies the edge.

They managed to get Ivar down with a double stomp from the top rope and Kingston hid himself just well enough to hold Ivar’s legs down while Woods was pinning him.

That was the finish that saw The New Day win the tag team titles for the 13th time in their WWE careers.
