The World’s Strongest Fight: Eddie Hall v Mariusz Pudzianowski

Hall, 36, captured the World’s Strongest Man title in 2017 and now weighs in at 150kg (330 lbs). The 1.89m Brit made his MMA debut in 2023, flattening the Neffati brothers in a dramatic tag-team bout. Before that, Hall went toe-to-toe with longtime rival Hafthor Bjornsson in a high-profile boxing match, narrowly losing on points.

His opponent, Mariusz Pudzianowski, is a legend in strength sport and one of the most seasoned heavyweights in European MMA. The five-time World’s Strongest Man (2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008), now 47, transitioned to MMA in 2009 and has since built a 17–9 (1 NC) professional record.

Among his most notable wins are a vicious first-round knockout of Michal Materla, a former KSW middleweight champion, and a unanimous decision victory over Olympic judo silver medalist Pawel Nastula. Known for his relentless aggression and surprising agility, Pudzianowski became a fan favorite in Poland and beyond.

However, he hasn’t fought since his TKO loss to Mamed Khalidov in late 2022, and insiders believe this could be the final fight of his career. The clash with Hall may serve as a farewell bout for the strongman-turned-MMA-veteran.

Meanwhile, Hall has been sharpening his game alongside UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, preparing for what will undoubtedly be his toughest test in combat sports to date.
