The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has revealed the fight card for their next event on 2025. They have named the event UFC Fight Night: Machado Garry vs Prates. Giga “Ninja” Chikadze and David Onama will be fighting it out as part of the Featherweight Division of the company.

Giga Chikadze as well as David Onama have become veteran MMA fighters in the UFC. Both of them have enjoyed both wins and losses throughout their career in their division in the company. Now they are all ready to test each other at the upcoming event on April 26, 2025. Both of them will be looking to overcome each other and win the fight to further their careers.

Giga “Ninja” Chikadze has developed himself into one of the veteran Featherweight Division fighters in the UFC. Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, his early MMA career saw competing at World Series of Fighting (WSOF) as per Tapology. He came to the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series. His first professional opponent in the UFC was Brandon Davis, whom he beat at UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs Cannonier on September 28, 2019.

Giga Chikadze has earned a winning streak of seven-fights in the UFC. This extended from his debut in 2019 to 2021 as per his UFC official record page. He has also got three Performance of the Night honors and one Fight of the Night honor from his career so far. He has also been ranked as the #12 fighter in the UFC Featherweight Division as of 2025.

David Onama has also started climbing up the ladders of the UFC Featherweight Division since his arrival. He earlier competed for Kansas City Fighting Alliance (KCFA) and Fighting Alliance Championship (FAC) as per Tapology. David Onama arrived in the UFC for the first-time at UFC Fight Night: Costa vs Vettori October 23, 2021. 

Unfortunately, David Onama lost in his debut fight. However, he has since then turned around and increased his winning skills inside the Octagon. He presently enjoys a three-fight win streak. David Onama’s MMA skills have also given him two Performance of the Night honors and one Fight of the Night honors as per his UFC records page.
