North Carolina’s 2025-26 basketball roster will look different next season and while the it’s all but set, there is still room to add more. And Hubert Davis has been actively looking for another addition.

Guard Andrej Stojakovic has cut his list down to three programs — North Carolina, Illinois and Stanford, he announced on Sunday. Stanford made the list a year after he opted to leave the program and transfer to Cal instead for the 2024-25 season. He also considered North Carolina.

As for his new recruitment, Illinois earned a visit from Stojakovic and appeared to be the frontrunners to land him for the upcoming season. That may still be the case but he’s familiar with UNC after talking to them last year and also playing in Chapel Hill. And of course, he’s familiar with Stanford.

Stojakovic is coming off a season in which 17.9 points per game for Cal, being one of the top players overall in the ACC.

If UNC is able to land a commitment, it would be a HUGE boost to the roster. It would also provide help at the guard position after losing production from RJ Davis and Elliot Cadeau.
