Mehmet Oz, President Trump’s pick to serve as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), is being sworn in Friday afternoon.
Oz is taking the helm of the agency that oversees Medicaid and Medicare at a time when funding for the programs is at risk of facing cuts.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to begin at noon EDT.
