The Cubs didn’t score in the series opener against the Dodgers, but Michael Busch made sure that wasn’t the case on Saturday night. He launched a 2-2 fastball into the left-field bleachers, marking the first home run Rōki Sasaki has allowed in his rookie season.
Busch was drafted by the Dodgers in 2019 and made his debut for the team in 2023. He homered in his return to Dodger Stadium last September and continued that success against his former team tonight.
