(WJW) – Opening day in Major League Baseball is here! The Cleveland Guardians face off Thursday afternoon in Kansas City against the Royals for their season opener. The first pitch is at 4:10 p.m., but even Thursday morning many Guardians fans were still wondering — how can they watch?
But, just in time, the Cleveland Guardians announced TV distribution deals. here’s the break down:
- AT&T U-verse (Channel 736 or 1736)
- COX (Channel 80)
- DIRECTV Satellite and Streaming (Channel 662)
- FuboTV
- Spectrum (Channel 306 or 1306)
In addition:
- Massillon Cable TV will carry 2025 Guardians games in Stark and Wayne counties
- Armstrong Cable will air games in Medina and Ashland counties

Five games will also appear on FOX 8 later this season. That line-up includes:
- Saturday, May 24, at 7 p.m.: Guardians at Tigers
- Saturday, July 5, at 7 p.m.: Tigers at Guardians
- Saturday, July 26, at 7 p.m.: Guardians at Royals
- Saturday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m.: Mariners at Guardians
- Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m.: Royals at Guardians
In addition, FOX 8 is home to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game and World Series.
