“The Chicken Sisters” launched last fall on Hallmark+. The first season began airing on the Hallmark Channel on March 29.
The synopsis for “We’re On the Same Team, Y’all” is, ”As ‘Kitchen Clash’ begins filming, tensions between Frannie’s and Mimi’s restaurants – and sisters Amanda and Mae, and their mother, Gus – are running high.”
“The Chicken Sisters” is a family drama about dueling fried chicken restaurants in the fictional town of Merinac, Kansas.
The cast includes Schuyler Fisk as Amanda Moore Hillier, Genevieve Angelson as Mae Moore, Lea Thompson as Nancy Hillier, Wendie Malick as Augusta “Gus” Moore, Margo Martindale is the narrator, Ektor Rivera as Sergio, James Kot as Frank Jr., Rukiya Bernard as Sabrina Skye, Cassandra Sawtell as Frankie and Jake Foy as Kenneth.
