DENVER — The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 120-101 in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals in a matchup of MVP finalists. 

The Nuggets will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, who finished the regular season with the best record in the NBA. The teams split their regular season series at two games apiece. The Nuggets will have one full day off before the series starts, while the Thunder have already been idle for a week after sweeping the Memphis Grizzlies.

Here’s the schedule for the second-round best-of-seven series between the Nuggets and the Thunder (all times are Mountain):

Game 1: Nuggets at Thunder on Monday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. on TNT

Game 2: Nuggets at Thunder on Wednesday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. on TNT

Game 3: Thunder at Nuggets on Friday, May 9 at 8 p.m. on ESPN

Game 4: Thunder at Nuggets on Sunday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m. on ABC

Jokic and Gilgeous-Alexander are likely to be the top two vote-getters in the MVP race, which is based on regular season performance. Jokic is vying for his fourth MVP award, while Gilgeous-Alexander is trying to earn his first. Jokic was the third player in NBA history to average a triple-double for a season. Meanwhile, Gilgeous-Alexander won the scoring crown (32.7 ppg) for the league’s most successful team.
