On Friday afternoon, the second round of the Masters will get underway live from Augusta, Georgia, with Justin Rose in the lead.

Currently, Justin Rose leads the way at eight under par through 17 holes. Nipping at his heels is fan-favorite Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau sits second at seven under par through 12 holes on Friday. Rose, of England, has one major on his resume, a first-place finish at the 2013 U.S. Open. Rose has finished second twice at the Open Championship, including most recently in 2014.
Meanwhile, DeChambeau won the 2024 U.S. Open, his second career major and the second time he won the U.S. Open. DeChambeau’s best finish at the Masters was sixth place, so he will be looking to win it for the first time this weekend.

In third place is Im Sung-jae at six under par through 14 holes. Meanwhile, four golfers are tied at five under par, including world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler, who has already won the Masters twice, first in 2022 and then again in 2024. Also at five under par is Rory McIlroy, whose highest finish at the Masters was second place, which happened in 2022. McIlroy has four majors on his resume, including two PGA Championships, but hasn’t won one in over 10 years. McIlroy will be looking to reverse his fortunes this weekend.
