Meta Platforms Inc. has added two new people to its board of directors — Dina Powell McCormick, a key former adviser to President Donald Trump, and Patrick Collison, the chief executive officer of Stripe, a financial technology company.
“Patrick and Dina bring a lot of experience supporting businesses and entrepreneurs to our board,” Meta Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement Friday. “Patrick is deeply committed to expanding economic opportunity, and Dina has a long career advocating for economic development and supporting entrepreneurs. Their perspective will be extremely valuable to businesses that rely on our services to grow.”
