Showers and thunderstorms are possible in North Texas on Tuesday, March 25.
Areas along and east of the Interstate 35 corridor will have a 20-25% chance for isolated thunderstorms Tuesday evening, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Storm timing will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
There’s a 5% chance that one or two of these storms will be severe and could produce large hail and damaging winds, according to the NWS.
After 10 p.m. Tuesday, there’s a 30-50% chance of scattered storms north of Interstate 20 and east of I-35. These storms are not expected to be severe, however, heavy rain and frequent lighting are both possible.

Warm Tuesday before storms
Before the storm weather late Tuesday, conditions will be warm in North Texas.
Daily temperatures are expected to be between the upper 80s and low 90s. If the D-FW region hits 90 degrees, it will be the first time this year.
As of now, the warmest day this year thus far is 88 degrees on Feb. 8.
