Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute B. Egede ratcheted up his message to President Donald Trump, stressing the island is “not for sale and cannot simply to taken” after another US push to gain control of the Arctic territory.
“We don’t want to be Americans, nor Danes; We are Kalaalit. The Americans and their leader must understand that,” Egede said in a Facebook post on Wednesday. “Our future will be decided by us in Greenland.”
