Underdog Of The Year? UFC 314’s Bryce Mitchell Urges Friends, Family To ‘Bet The Farm’ On Jean Silva Victory | Video

“Thug Nasty” is supremely confident.

No. 13 ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Bryce Mitchell returns to action against red-hot Brazilian madman Jean Silva at UFC 314 this weekend from inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

And though the initial betting odds were sky-high, Mitchell remains a steep underdog against “Lord.” Undeterred, he’s urging everyone to wager big—bet the house, or in his world, the farm—on his victory.

“I believe so,” Mitchell told reporters when asked if he was being unfairly discounted. “But I think this is a great time for all my friends to bet and make a tremendous amount of money off me. So, go ahead and bet the farm; these are the best odds I’ve had in a long time. If you’re a betting man, cast your bet.”

Mitchell undeniably brings huge value to this matchup. The lopsided odds boil down to three factors: Silva’s current red-hot streak, public backlash over Mitchell’s ridiculous Adolf Hitler remarks, and Silva’s devastating power—especially after Josh Emmett knocked Mitchell out cold in 2023 (watch it).
