Utah Jazz vs Portland Trailblazers: Preview, start time, how to watch

Sitting just above the Washington Wizards in the standings, the Utah Jazz currently stand at 16-63 on the season. It’s been the ultimate tanking season; full of youth development, ugly losses, suspect injuries, and virtually no defense to be found. Only three games from the end of the season, the Jazz hope to finish the season out strong (that is, lose the last three games).

One can tell that the Jazz are doing everything in their power to lose these last three games. Here’s tonight’s injury report:

Jazz Injury Report:OUT – Jordan Clarkson (left plantar fasciitis)OUT – John Collins (left ankle sprain)OUT – Elijah Harkless (left groin strain)OUT – Taylor Hendricks (right fibula fracture)OUT – Walker Kessler (nasal fracture/ concussion protocol)

OUT – Lauri…

That’s right. Everyone is out. Expect a lot of fun from Kyle Filipowski, Johnny Juzang, and Keyonte George.

The Portland Trailblazers have had an interesting season as well. Not fully tanking, but not competitive, they seem to be turning the keys slowly over to a trio of Scoot Henderson, Deni Avdija, and Donovan Clingan. It’ll be interesting to see if they retain Chauncey Billups after this season. At this point, they are perfectly mediocre, 5-5 on their last 10 games, with an overall of 35-44. They are already mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, so there’s not much for them to play for at this point. Still, expect this to be loss number 61 on the season for your young Utah Jazz.
