PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Several roads in Hidalgo County will be closed until further notice, due to severe weather warnings.
Drivers are urged to stay off of McAllen roadways. In the past 36 hours, McAllen has received up to 12 inches of rain.
- 2nd St., from Yuma Ave. to Ridge Rd.
- Main & 10th Street
- 2nd St. and Wichita Ave.
- 2nd St. from Lindberg Ave. to Frontage Rd.
- Lindberg Ave., from 2nd St. to 8th St
- Ebony Ave., from 23rd St. to 29th St.
- Dallas Ave., from 2nd St. to 8th St.
- From Bicentennial Blvd. to 21st St. on Pecan Blvd., outer lane is flooded.
- Ridge Rd. from McColl Rd. and 2nd Street
- 2nd St. and Ridge Rd., both north bound Lanes
- 23rd St. from Pecan Blvd. to La Vista Ave.
- Quince Ave., between Bicentennial Boulevard & 23rd St.
- S. 35th St. & Sarah Ave.
- Military Hwy, from 23rd St. to International Pkwy.
- Military Hwy to South Ware Rd.
- Hackberry Ave. and 9th St.
- 23rd St. from Vine Ave. to Harvey Ave., outer lane flooded
- 2nd St. & Houston Ave South bound both lanes flooded
- Mile 3 and 41st St., east bound flooded by drainage
- Ware Road, between Orchid Ave. and Nolana Ave., north and south lanes flooded
- Jackson Ave. and 1st St., east and west side flooded
- McColl Ave., from Business 83 to Ridge Rd., flooded
- Neighborhoods in Mission are flooding and some residents can’t get home.
- W. Polk Ave from Cage Blvd. to Sugar Road
- South of Expressway 83 Sugar Road
- East Polk Avenue
- West Hall Acres
- West Moore Road
- West Javalina Road
- 4th Avenue from University to Sprague
- Sprague from Lee Cir to Sugar Road
- Veterans Boulevard from Schunior to Sprague Street
- University Drive from 12th Avenue to 16th Avenue
- Cano Street from 12th Avenue to 14th Avenue
- Schunior Street from Veterans Boulevard to 15th Avenue
- 4th Avenue from University to Schunior Street
- McIntyre from 12th Avenue to 16th Avenue
- Sprague Street from 10th Avenue to Closner
- Sprague Street from 12th Avenue to Closner
All highway exits within Weslaco city limits are closed until further notice.
Drivers are asled to avoid flooded areas and to plan alternate routes.
