It’s time for the 89th Masters Tournament.
The crown jewel of the PGA Tour officially tees off Thursday following the Par 3 Contest, which kicked off the week-long event early Wednesday. Scottie Scheffler will look to defend his crown and walk away with the green jacket for the second straight year, and for the third time in four years, at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Ludvig Aberg finished four shots back of Scheffler last year, and will be aiming for his first career Masters victory.
Noticeably absent from this year’s field will be Tiger Woods. The five-time champion will not be playing this year as he recovers from surgery last month to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.

When does the Masters start?
The 2025 Masters Tournament tees off with the first round on Thursday, April 10. Competition will continue through Sunday, April 13, with the final round crowning this year’s winner.
